As the most populous borough in London Croydon is rich in diversity history and cultural vibrancy and our housing service is undergoing one of the most significant transformations in the capital.
Guided by the Executive Mayors Business Plan and the Future Croydon 202429 programme were on a mission to create a borough of opportunity: delivering better outcomes for our residents improving financial sustainability and restoring pride in our services.
Over the past year weve taken major steps to improve housing standards investing over 30 million in home upgrades launching a dedicated repairs contact centre and completing stock condition surveys on 70% of homes. As a result the Regulator of Social Housing has lifted its previous notice recognising the significant improvements weve made.
Now with a 166 million regeneration of our Regina Road estate underway Croydon is building a future where safety customer service and resident-led change are at the heart of everything we do.
