Im Lee Lovekin Group Recruitment Manager at Engenda Group and Im currently looking for a Projects Procurement Manager to join our team in Runcorn.
This isnt a general procurement role. Its a hands-on delivery-focused position where youll be working closely with our project teams to source and manage the procurement of large specialist equipment for complex engineering projects particularly in the power and renewable energy sectors.
Youll be embedded within our project delivery teams working alongside engineering planning and commercial colleagues to ensure the right materials and equipment are delivered on time to specification and within budget.
What youll be doing:
- Leading procurement activities for major engineering projects from early engagement through to delivery
- Managing the sourcing and supply of specialist equipment and materials often with complex technical specifications
- Working directly with project managers and engineers to align procurement strategy with project milestones
- Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure quality reliability and value
- Delivering procurement packages that support project success on time on budget and fully compliant
