Were currently hiring aPart-Time Service Assistant Ito support our Environmental Services team in delivering exceptional care and comfort to our patients visitors and staff.
Position Highlights:
Shift:3:00 PM 8:30 PM
Schedule:4 days a week including every other weekend and holiday
Flexibility:Opportunity to pick up additional hours based on department needs

What Youll Be Doing
- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in patient rooms offices and public areas
- Ensure all carts and equipment are clean organized and safely stored
- Restock paper and soap supplies throughout the hospital
- Clean and disinfect precaution rooms following infection control protocols
- Collect and dispose of trash and soiled linens
- Respond promptly to Environmental Services calls and texts
- Report maintenance issues to supervisors
- Attend departmental training sessions
- Uphold a helpful courteous and service-oriented attitude throughout your shift
What You Bring
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma preferred
- Two years of customer service experience preferred
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to read write and communicate effectively
- Strong attention to hygiene and cleanliness
- Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Commitment to confidentiality and patient privacy
- Comfortable using smartphones or PDAs for job assignments
Special Requirements:
- Must access email for organizational communication
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged standing walking and lifting
Working Conditions:
- Potential exposure to infectious diseases (with proper precautions)
- Safety glasses must be worn at all times
