Project Planner - Oil & Gas Project Aberdeen Scotland
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan including detailed timelines milestones and resource requirements
- Coordinate and schedule all project activities ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Monitor project progress identify potential issues or delays and implement corrective actions as needed
- Collaborate closely with the project team including engineers technicians and subject matter experts to ensure effective communication and alignment
- Prepare regular progress reports highlighting key achievements challenges and recommended solutions
- Manage project documentation including meeting minutes risk registers and change requests
- Provide support in the procurement of necessary equipment materials and services
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health safety and environmental regulations
- Participate in project review meetings and provide recommendations for process improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in project management engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Planner or Project Coordinator in the oil and gas industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in the use of project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
- Familiarity with the regulatory environment and industry standards in the oil and gas sector
- Willingness to work on-site in Aberdeen Scotland for the duration of the project
