About the Role
This role will oversee a portfolio of properties in the Baltimore region. The APM will support a Director of Property Management in ensuring the efficient operation maintenance and financial performance of the properties while providing exceptional service to tenants and stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
Property Management Support:
Assist the Property Manager in the daily operations of the portfolio.
Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to ensure properties are well-maintained.
Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address issues promptly.
Manage tenant relations addressing inquiries concerns and service requests efficiently.
Oversee vendor and contractor relationships ensuring timely and quality services.
Financial Management:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets financial reports and variance analyses.
Monitor rent collections and ensure timely follow-up on delinquencies.
Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Support lease administration including lease renewals amendments and terminations.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date property records files and databases.
Prepare and distribute monthly management reports and tenant correspondence.
Coordinate and attend tenant meetings preparing agendas and meeting minutes.
Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and industry regulations.

Collaborate with the Property Manager to develop a comprehensive understanding of all portfolio operations.
Experience
4 years of work experience in a commercial real estate environment. Must have strong administration and organizational skills excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess exceptional interpersonal skills. Must be able to prioritize wisely and consistently present a professional image. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
