- Drive customer experience technology for supporting customers all over the world.

Were going to improve this experience by making selection available across all Amazon marketplaces so that customers can search and browse in their preferred language and currency. The ideal candidate for this space will be highly quantitative have great judgment and passion for building a great customer experience be inventive and have a strong track record of delivery. You also have a pragmatic approach and iterative approach to building software: you have an ability to simplify and get things done with a demonstrated track record of building and delivering software and working effectively with external and internal teams.

Job responsibilities



- 7 years of engineering experience
- 3 years of engineering team management experience
- 8 years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing certification and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams

- Experience in communicating with users other technical teams and senior leadership to collect requirements describe software product features technical designs and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting hiring mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers
