The IT team at the Department of Climate Change Energy the Environment and Water(DCCEEW) is growing. We have a newly created opportunity for an experienced Information and Data Architect to join the team.
About the role
The Information and Data Architect will be responsible for translating high-level business requirements into scalable information architecture blueprints that support strategic objectives service-level targets and regulatory compliance. You will create and maintain information management standards aligned with the broader enterprise architecture to minimize duplication and accelerate time-to-value.
This role involves implementing comprehensive data strategies encompassing data modelling master data management analytic reporting and enabling self-service capabilities. Ideally you will have experience using the DAMA DMBOK framework although certification is not mandatory. You will produce conceptual logical and physical data models that future-proof information assets while incorporating enterprise-wide standards for data classification security and lifecycle management. This role requires exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization.
