Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging content for various social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram Facebook Twitter and LinkedIn
- Social Media Management: Help in managing the companys social media channels by scheduling posts monitoring engagement and responding to comments and messages.
- Research and Trends: Stay up-to-date with social media trends tools and best practices. Conduct research to identify opportunities for content creation and audience engagement.
- Campaign Support: Support the execution of social media campaigns by assisting with content ideation creation scheduling and tracking performance metrics.
- Analytics: Assist in analyzing social media data to track key metrics such as reach engagement and conversion. Provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing design and client service to ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice across all social media platforms.
- Community Engagement: Engage with the online community by responding to comments messages and mentions in a timely and professional manner. Foster positive relationships with followers and influencers.
- Creativity: Bring fresh ideas and creative solutions to the table to enhance the companys social media presence and drive engagement with our target audience.
- Client Servicing: Support the social media team in managing client accounts and campaigns. Provide regular updates to clients on campaign performance including key metrics and insights.
- Basic Editing: Utilize basic editing software to enhance photos and videos for social media posts. This may include cropping resizing adding filters and simple graphic design tasks.
Requirements:
- Passion for social media and digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram Facebook LinkedIn Twitter etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g. Buffer Hootsuite) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing Communications or a related field (or recent graduate).
- Previous experience with social media management either through coursework or personal projects is a bonus.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g. Canva Adobe Spark) is a plus.
