Your Role
We are hiring an Automation Engineer responsible for maintaining control systems installations maintenance risk mitigation and ensuring manufacturing and utilities operations. This is a W2 Temp position with potential FTE extension.
- Oversee control systems carry out maintenance troubleshoot issues and perform thorough root cause analyses.
- Manage required installations and upgrades as needed.
- Monitor and assess essential process data to provide recommendations for process enhancements.
- Drive ongoing process improvements and maintain comprehensive documentation in line with FDA requirements.
- Create and update electrical schematics as well as P&ID diagrams.
- Contribute to validation and manufacturing initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and external vendors to ensure production efficiency and performance.
- Participate in inspections and audits preparing and submitting detailed written responses as needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and guidelines.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in related scientific discipline (electrical engineering automation technology etc.)
- 7 years of experience in FDA and cGMP regulated industry.
- Well-versed in control systems including SCADA HMI PLCs DDC DCS and additional automation instrumentation and components.
- Experienced with a range of process instrumentation and utility systems.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent analytical and technical problem solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive with strong organization time management and project management abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail with commitment to quality and compliance.

Estimated annual salary dependent on experience: $90000 - $115000.
