Do you have a passion for food and love working with people We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Food Service Assistants to bring care and a smile to every shift.
The Food Service Assistant assists in the preparation delivery and service of meals to patients and staff to a high standard of excellence.
The role is offered on a Casual basis.
The Position:
Ensures that direct working relationships are established and maintained with colleagues and internal/external customers.
Adheres to the principles of the Equal Opportunity Act and Code of Conduct.
Participates as part of a team and maintain a high standard of staff morale.
Interprets menu cards for meal service to patients.
Assists with the washing of cutlery crockery and glassware.
Assists with the washing up of large heavy duty pots pans and other kitchen utensils.
Observes and practices all aspects of food kitchen and personal hygiene.
Assists with general kitchen hygiene washing of walls floors and refrigerators etc. and other areas as requested
To succeed in this role the ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of all areas of kitchen hygiene and the ability to prioritise tasks.
You will have good interpersonal skills with the ability to use initiative demonstrate reliability and work with minimal supervision and guidance.

We can offer you
Salary: $38.49 to $39.86 (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% superannuation
Casual position
