Job Description

Production Systems Specialist

Reports To:Director of Operations

Department:Operations

Location:Fort Collins CO

As a Production Systems Specialist you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and maintaining our production processes ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement implement efficient solutions and drive continuous enhancement of our production systems. This role requires a keen eye for detail strong analytical skills and a passion for streamlining operations to maximize productivity and quality.

Essential/Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing production systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure accurate completionandposting of inventory transactionsbatch sheets and spec sheets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize production workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate new technologies and automation solutions.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
  • Provide technical support for production equipment and operational procedures.
  • Implement configure and maintain ERP System add-ons
  • Conduct end user training on SOPs and best practices
  • Develop and maintain documentation SOPs and training materials.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in process improvement projects.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Evaluate new equipment and technologies for production improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines in a high-performance environment.
  • Proficiency in analyzing production data and translating findings into actionable improvements.
  • Familiarity with automation technologies and integrating new equipment into existing processes.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment with a focus on process improvement or operations.
  • Background in data analysis and reporting particularly using production data to identify trends and inform decision-making.

Skills:

  • Strong team player who is results oriented.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical thinking and data interpretation skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Education/Certifications/Knowledge:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing or related field preferred. (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience in production systems optimization or manufacturing operations.

Working Environment/Physical Activities:.

  • Lifting bending reaching squatting walking sitting
  • Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
  • Work on-site

Total Rewards:

Compensation:Compensation will be commensurate with the applicants education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as alignment with market data and internal benchmarks.

  • Salary Range: $61000 - $80000 annually.
