Job Description
Employee is responsible for cleaning responsibilities as specified by warehouse manager. Employee will maintain and submit a record of hours worked. Provide minor maintenance and repair of facility equipment including butnot limited topainting maintenance of landscaping etc. as necessary to maintain a safe and aesthetic appearance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed:
- Perform custodial duties such as sweeping mopping dusting and vacuuming
- Perform floor care tasks such as buffing waxing and polishing
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
- Grass and tree/shrub trimming weeding clean up etc.
- Operates fork truck powered pallet jack manual pallet jack dolly etc. to move material throughout warehouse
- Marks materials with identifying information as needed
- Conveys and puts away parts in the appropriate locations within the warehouse shelves bins racks in accordance with predetermined sequence such as size type style color product code etc.
- Reads and interprets pick tickets locates and picks parts and distributes them within the facility or prepares them for outbound shipment as needed
