Job Description
Responsibilities
Peraton is looking for a junior Systems Engineer to support our team in Quantico VA. Youll be part of a maintenance team responsible for the installation configuration optimization and testing of network video and phones services used on a government network.
- Provide technical support for the end users. Support may take various forms including phone conversations email messages and virtual interaction.
- Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they meet the objectives of the contractual requirements and participates in the testing process to validate requirements.
- Compile monthly metrics to produce to the government and ensure requirements comply with client requirements.
- Work with the operations Engineers and Application Support Engineers to support the operation and maintenance of all components of the Systems environment.
- Using a holistic approach designs develops evaluates and modifies end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle.
- Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
- Support on-call schedule.
- Operations may be 24/7.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Experience with troubleshooting computer hardware/software and networking systems
- A current/active Top Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph
- 2 years with AS/AA; 0 years with BS/BA; 4 years no degree
Desired Qualifications
- Tier II support experience
- Experience with Active Directory RSA Tokens and SharePoint
