Job Description
The City of Pearsall is currently accepting Applications for the following position:
Job title: Parks Maintenance Worker
Open Date: July 23 2025
Closing Date: August 06 2025
Job Type: Full Time/Non-Exempt
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (hours and days may vary)
Salary: Entry level - $14.42/per hr.

Job Summary:
Parks maintenance workers keep up the appearance health and safety of landscapes and features in public parks. They maintain jogging and biking paths athletic fields playgrounds picnic tables benches lawns flower beds and gardens.
Minimum Qualifications / Acceptable Equivalency:
1 yr. of experience working in a ground maintenance capacity nursery greenhouse or other landscape related organization preferred.
Ability to pass a pre-employment DPS Background check Drug test Physical and Lumbar X-ray.
Must possess a valid Texas Class C Drivers License.
Possess or ability to obtain applicators pesticide & herbicide control licensing.
