Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In this role your main responsibilities will include:
Planning curriculum lessons and special education programs using effective teaching methods.
Maintaining regular contact with parents and involving them in their childs educational progress.
Ensuring the classroom environment is well-organized and conducive to learning.
Instructing individuals and groups in various special education skill areas.
Modifying curriculum according to individualized education plans (IEPs) and conducting testing evaluations.
Requirements:
Active DESE special education certification for moderate or severe disability in MA.
Bachelors degree is required with preferred classroom experience.
2 years of experience working as a special education teacher.
