Job Description
We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team in South Brisbane Australia. As a Frontend Engineer you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining high-quality responsive web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Develop and implement responsive cross-browser compatible user interfaces using HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Collaborate with UX designers and backend developers to create seamless intuitive web applications
- Utilize modern frontend frameworks such as React Angular or to build scalable and efficient web applications
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and performance across various devices and platforms
- Implement and maintain version control using Git for all frontend code
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and web services
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend architecture decisions
- Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and industry best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues to ensure smooth user experiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and to specification
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of professional frontend development experience
- Strong proficiency in HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React Angular or
- Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and techniques
- Familiarity with version control systems particularly Git
- Experience with frontend build tools like Webpack and Babel
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services integration
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and best practices
- Experience with web performance optimization techniques
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
