POSITION SPECIFICS
The Social Science Research Institute is currently seeking an Administrative Supervisor (Administrative Assistant - Supervisor level) to serve as the lead coordinator role in the complex research business functions of the strategic mission is to foster interdisciplinary research that addresses critical human and social problems at the local national and international levels.
This role will report to the SSRI Research Operations Manager.
Responsibilities - The Administrative Supervisor will have the following responsibilities:
Skills Proficient use of Microsoft Office products including Word Excel PowerPoint Access Teams etc. is in other software including SIMBA (or a similar financial system) Live25 (or a similar booking system) and Qualtrics is highly preferred.
The successful candidate will also have the following:
The successful candidate will be able to coordinate and complete a range of business functions within the operations core as well as across the Institutes units and workgroups research support programs and position will supervise/mentor other operations core staff. The successful candidate will also have experience in assisting with the coordination of human resources activities facilities management operations administration and reporting activities.

MINIMUM EDUCATION WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Associate Degree 4 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: NoneBACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position including all possible grades is $46400.00 - $67300.00.Salary Structure - Information on Penn States salary structure
