The Associate Project Manager (PM) Laboratory is responsible for managing multiple small to medium projects from initiation through closing. They will manage single function teams with meetings and activities which bring distinct specific projects to successful completion on time within budget while producing quality outcomes in support of laboratory objectives.
In this position the PM will follow NAH project management methodology. They will demonstrate knowledge and usage of various project management tools and will ensure that all project documentation is up to date and communicated to relevant stakeholders on a timely basis. The Laboratory PM will perform at a skilled level in the areas of risk management budget management project scoping scheduling requirements gathering resource and capacity planning and communications management. They will monitor project direction to ensure that operational goals are on track.
The Laboratory PM will be an enthusiastic change agent and inspire the project team with a shared sense of purpose and be able to shift from the big picture to critical small detail thinking. The PM must be able to exhibit proactive critical thinking and problem solving to ensure project success through goal oriented.
