Description

JOBSUMMARY:

Responsible for managing all Internal Control revisions updates and changes requested bymanagementincludingthesubmissionofsametotheIndianaGamingCommission(IGC).

DIRECTLYSUPERVISES: RegulatoryComplianceAnalyst

KEYJOBFUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for tracking IGC fines & property compliance violations at Hoosier Park Racing &Casino (HPRC) submission of monthly Voluntary Exclusion Program (VEP) remittancedocumentation and quarterly Child Support Arrears Delinquency Registry (CSADR)documentation from HPRC to the IGC and other tracking as determined necessary by theComplianceDepartment.
  • Responsibleforannual AMLtrainingof HPRCteammembers(includingOTBs).
  • Directs property Compliance meetings with management and represents HPRC at quarterlyCasino Association of Indiana/IGC meetings and provides written summaries of topics discussedandimplications toproperty operations.
  • Chair of HPRC Compliance and Responsible Gaming Committees. Researches suspectedSuspicious Activity and may file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) with the Financial CrimesEnforcement Network (FinCEN) on behalf of HPRC. Helps plan and implement property-wideeducationandinitiativesfor annual Responsible GamingWeek.
  • Reviews (when needed) and maintains documentation on Marketing promotions andsubmissions.
  • Interfaceswithpropertymanagement andGMonCompliance-relatedmattersas required.
  • Serves as a liaison to the Indiana Gaming Commission both with on-site agents and IndianapolisIGC.
  • Prepares (as needed) all Compliance correspondence including subpoena documentationCompliance reports andother materialsas directed.
  • Key role in ensuring licensing compliance with Indiana Gaming and Indiana Horse RacingCommissions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates Degree or five years of experience in a casino gaming or other regulatory environment with ahighlevelof attentiontodetail;orequivalent combinationof educationandexperience. Aworking knowledge of Indiana Gaming Commission regulations Title 31 Suspicious Activity Reporting as well asall applicable state and federal regulations is preferred but not required. Must demonstrate a highdegree of professionalism and demonstrate diplomacy tact discretion and an ability to maintainconfidentiality. Must have outstanding interpersonal skills the ability to work independently and beable to make solid decisions while exercising sound judgment. Must be able to handle multiple tasks andmeet deadlines. Must have excellent computer skills with a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office ExcelPowerPoint and an ability and willingness to learn new systems as implemented by the company. Mustbe abletocommunicateeffectivelyinEnglishbothverballyandthroughwrittencommunications.

SOCIALSKILLSANDEXPERIENCE:

Must have an outgoing energetic and enthusiastic attitude. Must be comfortable initiatingconversationsandcreatinga funenvironmentwithour guestsandcommunity.

LANGUAGESKILLS:

Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technicalprocedures or governmental to write reports business correspondence andprocedure to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups ofmanagersclients customers andthegeneral public.

MATHMATICALSKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions applyconceptsofbasicalgebraandgeometry.

REASONINGABILITY:

Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpretan extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with severalabstractandconcretevariables.
