About Us:
TES Staffing has partnered with a nurturing and inclusive learning community committed to supporting the whole child through hands-on individualized learning. Their upper elementary program (Grades 46) is rooted in the Montessori philosophy fostering curiosity independence and social-emotional growth.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate adaptable and dedicated Educator to lead a mixed-age upper elementary classroom (Grades 46). The ideal candidate brings either Montessori classroom experience or the confidence flexibility and eagerness to embrace Montessori methods.
Salary: $50K (dependent on experience)
Hours:8:30am - 4pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead an upper elementary classroom fostering academic and personal growth.
- Prepare and maintain a well-organized engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to support each childs unique journey.
- Use observation and assessment to inform individualized instruction and classroom practices.
- Create opportunities for student-led inquiry critical thinking and independence.
- Participate in school events professional development and ongoing reflection to grow in your Montessori practice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required (Education or related field).
- Montessori certification for upper elementary (912) required or willingness to enroll in and complete certification/diploma program upon hire.
- Previous experience working with children in Grades 46 preferred.
- Strong communication classroom management and collaboration skills.
- A growth mindset and a genuine love of learning.
