About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and tech-savvy Helpdesk Intern to join our Digital Experience & Enablement team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic technology-forward environment supporting IT operations enhancing digital workflows and contributing to emerging initiatives around AI and knowledge management.

In this role you will provide responsive and effective technical support to end-users assist with hardware and software troubleshooting and ensure seamless day-to-day operations of workplace technology. You will also play a key role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of AI-driven agents for internal productivity and self-service as well as managing and optimizing SharePoint environments for collaboration and knowledge sharing across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver timely and professional IT support to end-users including troubleshooting hardware software and network issues.
  • Assist with device setup configuration and user onboarding processes across Windows and macOS environments.
  • Support the integration and roll-out of new tools applications and workplace technologies.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop test and support AI agents designed to automate and streamline IT helpdesk tasks and improve user self-service.
  • Assist in the administration content management and permissioning of SharePoint sites to enhance team collaboration and document management.
  • Participate in digital workflow optimization projects to improve employee experience and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support requests resolutions and operational procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service while remaining calm empathetic and professional under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge of computer hardware software and operating systems (Windows macOS).
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and common IT support tasks.
  • Exposure to or interest in AI/ML concepts automation tools or chatbot frameworks is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of SharePoint or Microsoft 365 tools is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in non-technical terms.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced support environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to team goals with a proactive and positive mindset.

Candidate Profile

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree and maintaining an above-average GPA.
  • Able and willing to work full-time (up to 40 hours/week) at our Belfast office
  • Passionate about technology customer service and continuous learning.
