About the Fellowship:
Advance your career in healthcare administration with our immersive 18-month post-graduate program focused on physician enterprise management. Through rotational learning tailored to your interests youll gain diverse skills and broad exposure to the complexities of managing physician practices value-based care and digital health initiatives preparing you to become a future leader in this dynamic field. This hybrid role offering the flexibility of both in-office and remote work in Houston TX or Omaha NE has an anticipated start date in July 2026.
Responsibilities
What Youll Do:
- Meaningful Projects: Lead initiatives that support CommonSpirit Healths goals.
- Executive Mentorship: Work closely with executive sponsors to guide your rotations.
- Invest in Your Future: You will be able to customize your professional development through conferences memberships certifications and more through a designated Fellow budget.
- Skill Development: Hone your management decision-making and change management abilities.
- Mentorship & Networking: Build relationships with leaders and peers.
- Hands-On Operations: Gain practical experience in various functional areas.
- Leadership Opportunities: Take on substantive projects to develop your skills.
- Diverse Experiences:This role offers hands-on experience in optimizing physician clinic operations implementing value-based care initiatives enhancing patient engagement through digital solutions and driving overall network performance. The fellow will contribute to improving patient outcomes reducing costs and ensuring a high-quality healthcare following locations over the listed specific focuses:
- Houston TX: This fellowship focuses on enhancing clinic operations implementing value-based care driving digital adoption among patients and improving network integrity performance.
- Omaha NE: This fellowship offers opportunities to contribute to specialty optimization network integrity strategies physician enterprise dyad development and performance improvement across all operational pillars.
Qualifications
What Youll Need:
- Masters Degree in either:
- Master of Health Administration (MHA)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Master of Public Health (MPH)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Or equivalent degree from an accredited graduate program
- Graduation Status: Completion of all on-campus requirements and eligibility to graduate upon fellowship completion
- Experience: Less than 5 years of professional experience.
- Graduation Date: Must have graduated with an applicable Masters Degree between Spring 2023-Spring 2027.
- Commitment: A strong interest in healthcare management and leadership.
- Passion: A passion for CommonSpirit Healths mission and a commitment to humankindness.
