Job Description
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field
- Experience in computer system development and modification
- Relevant experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis
- 5 years working on government IT projects
- 5 years eliciting analyzing and documenting business rules processes and requirements
- 1 year experience with the SDLC
- 1 year of hands-on experience with SQL databases
- Proficient in business modeling and graphical process flow techniques
- International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA)
- Certification such as PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis).
- Experience using JIRA and Microsoft Office tools
- Business analysis in public sector IT environments
- Strong skills in requirements gathering process analysis and documentation
- Understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to work with SQL databases for data validation and analysis
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience in test planning execution and system validation
- Skills in process modeling workflow mapping and reengineering
- Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
- Collaboration with cross-functional technical teams vendors and stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication for reports roadmaps and user documentation
