Job Description

REQUIREMENT:
Lead Public Sector Business Analyst Legacy System Migration SDLC Delivery & Multi-Agency Process Optimization Specialist
Columbia South Carolina (Hybrid)---Locals Only
Need Overall 10Years of experience
3 References from the recent projects are must.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field
  • Experience in computer system development and modification
  • Relevant experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis
  • 5 years working on government IT projects
  • 5 years eliciting analyzing and documenting business rules processes and requirements
  • 1 year experience with the SDLC
  • 1 year of hands-on experience with SQL databases
  • Proficient in business modeling and graphical process flow techniques
Preferred:
  • International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA)
  • Certification such as PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis).
  • Experience using JIRA and Microsoft Office tools
Specific Skills:
  • Business analysis in public sector IT environments
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering process analysis and documentation
  • Understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to work with SQL databases for data validation and analysis
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience in test planning execution and system validation
  • Skills in process modeling workflow mapping and reengineering
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
  • Collaboration with cross-functional technical teams vendors and stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication for reports roadmaps and user documentation
