Job Description
The Assistant Mens Soccer Coach is responsible for supporting all aspects of the mens soccer program at McMurry University. This includes assisting with coaching recruitment player development scouting academic support and administrative tasks while upholding the mission and values of the institution and maintaining full compliance with NCAA conference and institutional rules and regulations.
Physical Demands
Able to work evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
A bachelors degree is required along with 1-3 years college coaching experience. Knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations is a prerequisite for this position. The position requires someone with initiative and an energy level that will enable the individual to work long hours. The position does include evening and weekend assignments. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with university administrators parents and students. Additional Required Certifications licenses and Certificates: USSF license or United Soccer Coachs license
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree and prior collegiate participation and/or coaching experience are preferred. Experience using compliance-specific software for logging recruiting calls and unofficial visits are preferred.
