The Department of Neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an outstanding academic Neurologist to join their state-of-the-art Clinic located at their Red Bird location in Dallas TX. Applicants can expect an opportunity for a well-balanced career in Neurology. We are seeking candidates who have a strong interest in General Neurology. This position will play a major role with the expansion of ambulatory services in the satellite clinic in South Dallas and will be functioning as a Neurologist with responsibilities and duties in patient activities in Neurology.
Posses or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Texas
Completed a Neurology fellowship
Board certified/board eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for adult or child neurology
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215 which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information. To the extent this position requires the holder to research work on or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 113.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.
Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishment and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.
