*At Securian Financial the internal title for this position is Administrative Business Partner Sr Rep.
Overview:
Are you looking for a fast paced environment with a lot of human interaction This position is part of a team that provides support to Operations. To be successful in this job you must be a self-motivated detailed individual who is flexible and enjoys change.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
Manage leaders scheduled workdays including scheduling meetings gathering information to prepare agendas and meeting documentation.
Use significant discretion to prioritize and rearrange schedules as needed.
Partner with leaders to ensure that deadlines are met.
Screen and prioritize emails.
Understand assigned leaders plans and priorities to respond to questions and take appropriate action.
Provide general administrative support to assigned leaders such as creating reports coordinating travel and planning special events.
Provide back-up for other assistants during absences and periods of peak workload.
Qualifications:
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office such as Office 365 Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication professionalism and interpersonal skills.
Effective organizational skills to coordinate multiple activities and the ability to adjust to changing priorities.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and use sound judgment to make decisions and take action.
Ability to use discretion when working with critical highly sensitive and confidential information.
