Founded in 1998 Mystic Valley Regional Charter School (MVRCS) is a K12 public charter school located in Malden Massachusetts serving over 16700 students. This is a part-time seasonal position with weekday evening practices and Responsibilities* Plan and lead cheer practices 23 times per week* Develop and implement training and conditioning routines* Choreograph and teach routines for boys and girls varsity basketball games (approximately 1620 games)* Manage inventory of uniforms and equipment* Promote and model the schools values and expectations* Communicate effectively with student-athletes families and the Athletics Department-RequirementsAvailability for evening practices and gamesCompletion of NFHS Concussion Certification (within the first year)CPR and First Aid Certification (within the first year)Strong alignment with Mystic Valleys mission and educational philosophyPreferred QualificationsCompetitive cheer experience (high school or collegiate level) Prior coaching experience ideally with high school athletesThis position is an annual appointment and is reviewed at the conclusion of each season.
