Job Description
Position Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto (250 Yonge St Toronto) and/or Client office.
Infrastructure Lead is responsible for the architecture of IT infrastructures. This responsibility includes creating and maintaining infrastructure design models guiding/making design decisions validating designs for the fulfilment of quality attributes and Service Level Agreements and supporting the realization of the architecture throughout the initial design and the evolution of the landscape.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for the strategic planning and direction of the practice they support eg. Cloud Storage Network etc.
Ensure service and technical solutions are align with the CGI and client strategy service operations and technology portfolio by working with both CGI and customer/3rd party/vendor technical and project management resources Network and Client Architects and CGI internal tech
Work with vendors to gain understanding and capabilities to expertly architect design implement and operate environments
Design lead on associated practice activities
Design Implement and Operate CGI assets in production development testing and other environments
Key role in creating and maintaining documentation creates common templates and leverages their use
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Kyvos experience
Comprehensive understanding of the practice technologies and their alignment to service delivery requirements
Act as a trusted technical advisor for the practice/domain/tower
Deep understanding of the interoperability of divers technologies within the practice/tower (e.g. Cisco vs F5 and how they would work)
Ability to develop a forward looking strategy for the evolution of technologies leveraged by the practice/tower
Integrate Kyvos Scheduling with data warehouse events (resources to work within T&O teams)
Required: Communication (Oral/Written) Solutions Architecture English
Desired: Client Relationship Proposal Writing Technical Architecture Cloud Computing Proposal Dev & Solutions
