Title: Product ManagerLocation: Las Vegas NV - Hybrid
Type: 6-9 month contract
Seeking a seasoned Product Manager with a background in both travel operations and IT product leadership to oversee the complete overhaul of a travel booking and concierge service platform. This contract role focuses on ensuring a successful implementation of a new vendor-led solution by managing vendor collaboration aligning internal stakeholders and ensuring the end product meets functional and integration goals.
Your role:
- Oversee the full product lifecycle for a modernized travel platform from requirements through implementation.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination between internal teams and third-party vendors during execution of an off-the-shelf platform rollout.
- Lead vendor accountability throughout the RFP selection and implementation phases.
- Evaluate existing system workflows and identify opportunities for improvement across booking payment inventory and customer service.
- Ensure seamless integration with airline booking systems loyalty programs accounting platforms and banking/payment systems.
- Represent the business needs of a high-touch travel experience platform including support for executive concierge-level services.
- Align cross-functional input from operations IT and business leaders to ensure the platform supports scalable and sustainable workflows.
- Monitor timelines milestones and vendor deliverables to ensure the solution delivers as expected.
- Collaborate on system testing configuration and rollout strategy to minimize operational disruption.
What youve got:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in the travel or hospitality industry (required).
- Strong familiarity with technology platforms used in travel booking loyalty airline reservation systems and concierge services.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and ensuring high-quality delivery of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software solutions.
- Understanding of API capabilities and common system integration points (no coding required).
- Knowledge of payment processing tools and integrations such as PayPal and banking platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex cross-functional projects with multiple external and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and organization skills with an ability to keep deliverables on track.
- Familiarity with RFP processes and vendor contract oversight is preferred.
- Background in modernizing or replacing legacy systems is highly desirable.
