Job Description
Position requires ability to work overtime. As a result it may require working varying start times end times and weekends dependent on business needs.

General Labor 2nd Shift -230pm to 1030pm
Adheres to all FCC established GMPs
Assists anytime the line is in a scrap mode
Assists in other facets of production as needed
Works at different workstations as production needs require
Conducts assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to FCC safety methods
Ensures a quality product through regular visual checks
Responsible for escalating machine issues to Lead Operator
Inspects materials products and containers at each step of packaging process
Responsible for proper packaging of all finished goods
Responsible for verifying and executing pallet patterns where applicable

QUALITY:
Employee shall follow all required GMP quality and food safety addition employee shall notify their supervisor or other designated personnel of all quality or food safety findings or incidents.
SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL:
Employee shall follow Ferrara-Itascas safety & environmental objectives & targets follow the plant safety rules report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately maintain compliance with regulations and refer to the Safety & Environmental Management System(s) on all related procedures and programs.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and keep up with the line speeds in a fast paced environment
Ability to read and write English
Adheres to all company policies and procedures
Ability to work scheduled shift and overtime as needed
Dependable and flexible when work is required in other facets of production.
Promotes teamwork possesses a good attitude and exhibits flexibility and willingness to perform tasks as needed
Ensures compliance with SQF and other relevant standards.
Experiences that will support your success
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and the noise level in the environment is loud.
Manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
Food manufacturing experience is a plus.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to occasionally stoop kneel crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is required to lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation
$19.08 per hour plus applicable shift differential
