Job Title: Assistant Manager Pre-Owned Reconditioning Center & Assistant Parts Manager

Location: Briggs Supercenter Reconditioning Center

Our Pre-Owned vehicle reconditioning center is a vital part of maintaining our high standards and were looking for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team in a dual-role capacity.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an Assistant Manager to support our Pre-Owned Reconditioning Center operations while also assisting in parts management. This unique role requires strong leadership and management skills combined with an in-depth knowledge of automotive parts. The ideal candidate will help streamline reconditioning processes and ensure efficient parts availability to support vehicle repairs and preparations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing daily operations of the Pre-Owned Reconditioning Center ensuring timely and quality vehicle reconditioning.

  • Oversee parts inventory ordering and distribution to support reconditioning and repair workflows.

  • Collaborate with service technicians detailers and other staff to coordinate parts needs and vehicle readiness.

  • Supervise and train team members in reconditioning and parts department functions.

  • Monitor budget and expenses related to parts and reconditioning activities.

  • Maintain accurate records of parts usage inventory levels and reconditioning schedules.

  • Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies safety regulations and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven management experience in an automotive dealership or related environment.

  • Strong background in automotive parts management including inventory control and ordering.

  • Excellent organizational communication and leadership skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.

  • Familiarity with automotive reconditioning processes preferred.

  • Proficiency with dealership management software and parts systems a plus.
