The role
Are you passionate about bringing history and culture to life for young minds As an Education Guide youll deliver engaging curriculum-linked programs and tours for primary and secondary students in our precincts including The Rocks and Darling Harbour. Youll help create memorable learning experiences that connect students with Sydneys rich heritage through interactive storytelling and hands-on activities.
This role also includes front-of-house responsibilities providing warm and informative customer service to visitors. Youll be part of a team that values enthusiasm adaptability and a genuine love for sharing knowledge in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
You must be available to work weekends and public holidays when required. A minimum 3-day (including Saturday and Sunday) availability per week is required.

Placemaking NSW is responsible for managing and caring for some of Sydneys most iconic harbourside venues and locations including The Rocks Barangaroo Darling Harbour and White Bay Power Station. We also lead the planning and delivery of the Bays West Urban Renewal Precinct a state significant project that will bring new homes jobs and public spaces to 77 hectares of government-owned land just 2 kilometres from Sydneys CBD.
