As a Financial Analyst II at BraunAbility you will be responsible for a hybrid role that combines financial analysis and accounting functions. You will provide critical financial insights and support while also ensuring accurate financial records and compliance. This position requires a versatile individual capable of handling both analytical and accounting tasks.
Essential Functions:
Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support business planning and forecasting.
Prepare detailed financial reports including variance analysis and trend analysis.
Develop budgets and financial plans.
Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
Perform general accounting tasks including journal entries account reconciliations and month-end close processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Prepare financial charts and tables for the monthly MR&A packet.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Reconcile and record bi-weekly payroll.
Review and reconcile fixed asset ledger activity compile supporting invoices work with project managers to review spend and enter assets into FAS upon project completion.
Reconcile vehicle inventory and vehicle floor plans monthly.
Download and review daily bank activity reports and match all withdrawals with supporting documentation.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software (e.g. SAP Oracle).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong understanding of GAAP standards.
Strong problem-solving documentation research and resolution data analysis and multi-tasking skills.
Advanced knowledge of financial reporting standards with a track record of optimizing reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Proven ability to align financial strategies with business objectives leveraging data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and profitability.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field. Proven experience as a Financial Analyst Staff Accountant or in a similar hybrid role.
