Description

Cherokee Casino Ramona and South Coffeyville is seeking a Drop Count Lead to oversee all aspects of the revenue collection process. This includes supervising team members ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of all financial records.



Responsibilities
  • Supervise and guide the work of Drop Count Associates.
  • Train and mentor team members to ensure proficiency in all aspects of the drop count process.
  • Oversee the removal and counting of cash proceeds from various gaming areas.
  • Coordinate drop schedules with casino operations and cage management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of drop count data to Gaming Accounting.
  • Maintain a safe clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Report any suspicious activity to supervisors or security personnel.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of process improvements.


Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of experience in casino drop count operations.
  • Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle large amounts of money accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and often demanding environment.
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a casino environment which may include exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise.
  • Must be able to obtain a Cherokee Nation Gaming License and/or Oklahoma Horse Racing License.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
  • Completion of required training and safety objectives.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities within a team environment.
