A role in Planning means being in charge of the financials and forecasting for one of Targets businesses. Here you will conduct comparative analysis of business results and trends to provide insights that inform the Inventory teams work to ensure that product supports projected sales. Acting as the hub between Merchandising and Supply Chain you will create a financial link between these two essential groups and have a voice in some of the most important decisions from a financial strategy standpoint.
As anAssociate Planner you will develop the business strategies that ensure product availability and profitable sales. Your work will make a positive impact by analyzing category results and identifying insights and opportunities across key financial metric including sales margin and ROI. You will determine item-level investments to support category financial plans as a part of pre-season vendor commitments. Through business analysis and clustering you will help identify segmentation opportunities to drive localization strategies. Previous experience in planning/ FP&A (in retail) & inventory management Your skills will support strategic decisions about how we forecast sales and inventory needs to deliver guests with the products they want most.
