Job Description

The Company
Our client is a leading global financial institution with a strong presence across Asia and the Middle East. The organization is committed to digital transformation operational excellence and driving efficiency across its regional operations.

The Team
You will join a dynamic and diverse regional projects team within the Operations function responsible for managing strategic transformation IT and change initiatives across Capital Markets Operations Financing & Trade Operations and Transaction Banking Services. The team plays a critical role in ensuring coordination between local and regional stakeholders and alignment with global project governance frameworks.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and support business and IT projects across multiple countries in Asia. The role will involve coordinating cross-functional teams managing project governance and reporting driving change management initiatives and ensuring successful delivery of both local and regional operational projects. The position offers exposure to a wide range of financial products and technologies and close interaction with senior stakeholders across Operations IT Compliance and Front Office.

The Requirements

  • Masters degree in Financial Engineering Finance Economics or Engineering
  • 3 to 5 years experience in Project Management ideally within banking operations
  • Minimum 7 years experience in Investment Banking or similar financial institutions
  • Strong understanding of operational processes within Capital Markets Trade Finance and Transaction Banking
  • Familiarity with systems such as CORONA Intellimatch CIBOS SUMMIT etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Excel Word PowerPoint and Visio
  • Excellent communication coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-motivated detail-oriented and able to drive projects independently
  • Experience with change management and process improvement is a plus
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
