Were hiring a MidLevel Software Engineer to join our collaborative Orem team and build the future of payments!
Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to system analysis design development and implementation for our existing Web and API applications.
- Translate stories into design & code. Develop well-engineered code and test artifacts backed by automated tests.
- Research and employ contemporary software development techniques to ensure quality and improve velocity of the team.
- Deploy code to development test and production environments on schedule.
- Provide follow-up Production support.
- Contribute to change control processes and documentation.
- Follow Agile software development methodology.
- Follow architecture standards and best practices
- Active role in design code and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify and fix issues.
- Contribute to developing and maintaining an inclusive and highly collaborative environment for the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related fieldor equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience with software engineering fundamentals including agile development object-oriented design data structures and testable code.
- Highly collaborative a quick learner and willing to jump in where needed.
- Able to effectively communicate technical issues in a manner all can understand.
- Able to work with Product Managers to prioritize work relative to both delivering business value and addressing technical debt.
- 3 years of programming experience

- Languages/Frameworks: JavaScript
- Tools: Git (Bitbucket) JIRA
- Cloud/Infra: AWS (especially Lambda & DynamoDB) Terraform Serverless Framework
- Databases: MySQL NoSQL
