The incumbent of this position is responsible for the maintenance of buildings facilities equipment appliances and general maintenance of the Fisheries Research Laboratory on Grand Isle LA for the Office of Fisheries.
Six semester hours in construction management construction technology or engineering or any combination of these courses.

Job Duties:
This position will maintain and repair buildings (HVAC electrical plumbing etc) land and structure devices (buildings bank stabilization devices boat landings boat docks and bulk heads) for the Office of Fisheries. This requires communication with contractors (i.e. electricians plumbers HVAC carpenters general contractors etc) hired to perform the maintenance and repairs as well as performing the repairs and tasks on site. This position is also responsible for the maintenance and repair of on-site appliances and equipment.
