Job Description
Our growing CNC manufacturing client in Mundelein IL is hiring a CNC Field Service Engineer! If youre a hands-on professional with experience in CNC grinding machine service and troubleshooting this is your opportunity to join a trusted company with a reputation for quality and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site installation repair maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC tool & cutter grinding machines
- Support clients in person over the phone and via email to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently
- Travel up to 80% throughout the U.S. Canada and Mexico to service client needs
- Read and interpret electrical mechanical and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics
- Identify issues remotely and recommend solutions for maintenance and part replacement
Qualifications:
- Hands-on field service experience with CNC grinding machines
- Proven skills in mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting
- Ability to diagnose and solve issues remotely as well as onsite
- Experience installing CNC grinding equipment
