Job Title: New Vehicle Sales Manager
Department: Sales
Reports To: General Sales Manager
OMeara is seeking an experienced and driven New Vehicle Sales Manager to lead our new car sales department. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented leader with a strong background in automotive sales team management and customer satisfaction. This role is critical in driving volume profitability and the overall performance of the new vehicle department.
Oversee all aspects of the new vehicle sales department including inventory management pricing strategy and staff performance.
Hire train motivate and lead a high-performing sales team.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics; set monthly and annual targets for individuals and the department.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Collaborate with the General Manager and Marketing team on promotional campaigns events and advertising strategies.
Maintain strong relationships with OEM representatives and stay up-to-date with brand programs and incentives.
Manage new car inventory including ordering allocations and aging units.
Ensure compliance with all dealership manufacturer and federal guidelines and policies.
Monitor and manage gross profit expenses and departmental profitability.
Proven experience (3 years) in automotive sales management preferably as a New Car Manager or GSM.
In-depth knowledge of dealership operations and CRM/Desking tools (eLeads Dealertrack Cox Automotive Suite).
Strong leadership interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced performance-driven environment.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
Bachelors degree in Business Automotive Management or related field.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
