Job Description
The San Diego Unified School District is currently accepting applications for the position of Community Assistant II - Bilingual (English/Spanish). This opportunity is open to all interested candidates.
This recruitment will be used to establish an Eligibility List for the current vacancies shown below as well as any future vacancies. This list will be active for three (3) months with the possibility to be extended.

- Work Schedule:10 months per year /10hours per week.
- This is a Bilingual position.
- Salary:This position is paid on the ParaeducatorSalary Schedule. Grade 028. To view the Salary Schedule click here.
- Positions greater than 20 hours per week qualify for District-paid health and wellness benefits for the employee and their eligible dependents.
- Vacancies thatrequirethe incumbent to be Bilingual in English/Spanish will be considered for positions that require bilingual skills will be invited to a Performance Test (Qualifying Only) for oral and written fluency. Bilingual positions qualify for a 5% bilingual differential.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Any combination of training experience and/or education equivalent to three years of full-time equivalent paid service in community activities or one year of satisfactory service as a Community Assistant I.

Examination Process
The examination process includes an application screening and evaluation based on the applicants education work history and responses to theapplication questions.
