Tasks
- Design develop and implement software for power system management including Power Flow Load Allocation State Estimation Demand-Side Management and Fault Location
- Collaborate with innovation ecosystem partners to build reliable and efficient software for critical energy systems
- Analyze technical requirements identify gaps and propose innovative solutions to complex problems
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle from design to deployment and continuous maintenance
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering preferably in Power Systems
- Solid understanding of power systems: generation transmission distribution and consumption
- Knowledge of renewable energy systems
- Experience with power network modeling and simulation: Power Flow Load Allocation State Estimation Demand-Side Management Fault Location
- Familiarity with simulation tools such as Matlab Simscape Electrical and Simulink
- Proficiency in C/C programming
- Experience with version control tools (SVN or Git)
- Basic knowledge of Linux (optional)
- Familiarity with Scrum methodology (optional)
- Strong attention to detail and customer-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of energy markets is a plus
- Availability to work in a hybrid model from Maia Portugal
