We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing automated test frameworks excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
Role Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain robust scalable and reusable automation frameworks.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for web API and mobile applications.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers product managers and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Analyze test results identify bugs and work with the development team to resolve issues.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices in test automation.
Skills and requirements
- 810 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Java Python JavaScript).
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium Cypress Playwright or Appium.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman RestAssured or Karate.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g. JIRA TestRail Zephyr).
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter Gatling).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus
