Job Description Summary

Were excited to announce an opportunity to join our Power Distribution and Controls P&L as a PMO Project Controller on a full-time 13-month maternity cover contract.

In this role youll work closely with the global Power teams to drive business execution ensure compliance and champion operational excellence. Youll be part of our Business Operations team with the Program Management Office (PMO) at its core. The PMO plays a vital role in the business acting as the conscience for projects and ensuring disciplined performance-driven project management.

As a Project Controller youll be involved in every stage of the project lifecyclefrom the initial bid and concept phase to final closure. With structured training and hands-on experience youll contribute to key daily tasks such as managing schedules forecasting and handling risk and change management. Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Act as focal for PMO standard tools and coach PM/EPM/Tech Leads on best practices of tool usage.
  • Create and perform earned value analysis
  • Assist in the accurate completion of BCRs and provide change reports for the monthly program reviews.
  • Work with leads to distinguish variances compared to BCRs and archive program decisions made as part of the change management reviews
  • Participate in risk management reviews and R&O workshops
  • Support team to provide forecast updates when required including project performance analysis.
  • Assist with coordinating project resource plans across multiple teams
  • Through the provision of data support PM/EPM with project decisions

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college and/or equivalentexperience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Passion for customer satisfaction
