Makes and serves guests delicious beverages in accordance with established standards and with hospitality and professionalism. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.
Essential Duties:
Stocks bar mixes and serves alcoholic beverages assists in cost control inventory and
maintains inventory records.
Assists department leaders with creation of seasonal cocktails and development of menu
Assists department leaders with Social Media schedule and creation of content
Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food
and beverage products. Communicates with management in a timely manner when
supplies are needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures
provided by the management.
Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
Performs opening and closing duties which include but are not limited to inventory
cash control cleaning and restocking.
Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
Reviews banquet schedule for changes calendar of events and special events.
Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
On occasion will serve meals to guests.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g. POSITOUCH and MICROS)
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands walks talks hears and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs balances stoops kneels crawls crouches; tastes smells and sits. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds. Occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds.
Certificates/Licenses:
ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
Job Knowledge Skill and Ability Preferences:
Knowledge of wine spirits beer and current trends in industry and marketplace
Possesses the knowledge of cocktail recipes
Professional and courteous demeanor
Demonstrate a strong commitment to company values
Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon employees clients and vendors
Fluent in English speaking writing and understanding
Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
