Job Description
Description
- Perform basic repairs and general maintenance tasks (e.g. patching walls fixing doors replacing light bulbs).
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Assist with preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment under supervision.
- Support licensed technicians and contractors during repairs and installations.
- Monitor and report issues with HVAC plumbing electrical and security systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
- Manage stock of basic maintenance supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed.
- Respond promptly to minor facility-related service requests and emergencies.
- Operate forklifts & loading/unloading trucks.
- Help with office moves furniture assembly and workspace setup.
- Follow safety procedures and assist in maintaining a safe work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
- 1 years of experience in facilities management maintenance or a related field.
- Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
- Industrial forklift / lift truck operating experience.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with maintenance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift a minimum weight of 40 lbs.
