Our Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions organization has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Controller.
This is an onsite position based out of our facilities in Muskegon Michigan.
What You Will Do:
The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions. This role includes managing financial reporting budgeting forecasting and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. The Finance Controller will work closely with senior management to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and corporate policies.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes providing detailed financial analysis and variance reports.
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Monitor and manage cash flow working capital and financial risk.
- Lead and mentor the finance team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and drive financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- A Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance with 12 years of experience in Accounting or Finance; OR an Advanced degree in Accounting Finance (or CPA) with 10 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen - this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of SAP and OneStream.
- Experience preparing and reporting data to executive leadership.
- Ability to anticipate analyze and resolve financial issues.
- Excellent communication skills.

The salary range for this role is 147000 USD - 295000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
