The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Pediatrics is seeking an outstanding Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrician for a clinician-educator faculty position in the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at UTSW and Childrens Health System of Texas.
We are especially interested in applicants with interests and/or experience in teaching and in applicants with strong fellowship research training who are interested in expanding the educational initiatives within the Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics program clinics and clinical/translational research. Clinician-educator faculty have ample opportunities to teach/train Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Fellows Pediatric Residents Med-Peds Residents and Medical Students. Candidates must have completed a fellowship in Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics and have a dedication to academic excellence.
Applicants must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas and be board-eligible or certified in Pediatrics and in Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics.
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215 which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information. To the extent this position requires the holder to research work on or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 113.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.
Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishment and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.
