The Role
The focus of the podcast lead is to maximise the growth of podcast content within the News Division and lead the team of producers and journalists. The role requires extensive experience managing podcast strategy and will also involve;
- Assisting to develop a sustainable content plan to appeal to new and underserved audiences.
- Provision of high-level insights with data driven analysis of content production consumption trends relevant performance metrics and translation into clear and actionable strategies.
- Working with journalists in a deadline-driven environment to produce quality news and current affairs content for podcast audiences.

About You
You will be a self-starter goal oriented and have a determination to succeed. You will also have;
- Proven experience of managing teams and talent and working collaboratively with all types of personalities to achieve success.
- Excellent analytical skills drawing insights from data to grow audiences and engagement coupled with a deep knowledge of the podcasting ecosystem
- An ability to independently focus on your own work AND lead multiple projects with many stakeholders and dive into detail when required.
- High level communication skills positive and personable with a solution-oriented mindset
