About the role

The Learning Lead is responsible for supporting the design development and execution of the Group Learning & Governance Strategy. Specifically the role is responsible for actively managing the pipeline of learning activity including identification scoping prioritisation planning sequencing oversight and governance to enable successful delivery.

The position is also responsible for enabling appropriate learning governance and assurance ensuring learning solutions are current fit for purpose and aligned to relevant frameworks standards and governance practices.

What youll do

  • Maintain oversight of the Learning Talent & Capability design pipeline and associated portfolio of projects.
  • Actively manage the pipeline of design activity including identification scoping prioritisation planning sequencing oversight and governance to enable successful delivery.
  • Support the maintenance and communication of learning program updates flight plans and associated supporting artefacts.
  • Responsible for overseeing the quality & timeliness of learning solutions.
  • Advocate for modern learning approaches embracing digital experiences and technology.
  • Support maintaining appropriate group governance and assurance ensuring solutions are current fit for purpose and aligned to relevant frameworks standards and governance practices.
  • Collaborate with Learning Talent & Capability teams and Business Risk Partners to proactively consider identify investigate and manage risks issues and blockers. Actively demonstrate and promote strong risk maturity and awareness
  • Manage the allocation of work and day to day activities for Learning team members.
  • Enable the team and functions learning teams as a senior technical referral to support effective solution design and development proactively manage risk and resolve issues
  • Support technical capability across the team and functions learning teams through effective coaching mentoring and professional feedback and providing insights to the Manager Learning Frameworks & Operations to inform development planning and team-based capability development.
  • Support the Manager Learning Frameworks & Operations to actively promote the ability to navigate complexity and create a culture of value creation agility simplicity innovation and continuous improvement.

What youll bring

  • Qualifications in Learning & Development Education Project Management Change Management Business and/or related discipline - Desired
  • Minimum 3 years insurance claims and/or financial services experience
  • Proven experience in leading and developing learning design solutions
  • Knowledge and experience of digital learning tools and platforms
